Enrich a customer file
A spreadsheet full of partial customer records is still valuable. Infinite Audience helps you resolve those records to real people, add the fields you need, and save the result for activation.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Bring a CSV with a header row and at least one useful identity signal, such as an email address, phone number, name and postal address, or a previously returned Infinite Audience person ID.
- Open Command Center and choose Create Matched Segment.
- Name the segment and upload your file. Large exports can be added as multiple file parts.
- Review the column mapping. We suggest the most likely match for each column; adjust anything that needs a nudge.
- Choose the enrichment fields you want returned, or use a saved template.
- Review the summary and start the match. You can keep working while it runs.
- Open the finished segment in Library, then use it in an audience or export it to a connected destination.
A cleaner file gets you there faster

- Use clear column names such as
email,phone,first_name, andpostal_code. - Include more than one identity signal when you have it.
- Keep the returned
iag_person_idin your customer profile. It makes future supported refreshes faster and more efficient.
Resolved tier 01 IDs are reusable customer identities. Derived tier 02–05 IDs simply keep unmatched rows recognizable; they are not resolved people. Learn how person IDs work →
